Clicking on the player name or the '---'
will bring up a display box. Click on the
drop down arrow at the right of the box.
This will bring up a list of your squad.
Note that
any players which are injured or suspended will
not appear in the list and can't be put into your
team for your next match.
From the list simply click
on the name of the player you wish to play in
that position. If you wish to place a trialist
in the position then click on 'Trialist' at the top
of the
list.
Similarly, if you wish to just leave the
original player with this shirt then just click
on 'No Change' at the top of the list.

Selecting players for the bench works exactly the
same way. Note, if you select a player who is
already been allocated to another shirt, they
will move to the new shirt and the other shirt
will become blank and allocated to a trialist.

Note, playing trialist affects the aggression level
you can select for your team. Trialist themselves
can not be expected to play aggressively as they
don't have the same association for your team as
your squad members do. Also, your own players will
be affected if they share the team with trialist.
Their desire to win the game will be diluted if
they think the manager doesn't care enough to ensure
that there are no trialists playing. Therefore,
for each trialist you have in your first eleven
the maximum aggression level you can play will be
reduced by one.
For example, the normal maximum aggression level is 9, if you
play two trialists in your first eleven then the
maximum aggression you can have is 7.
