The base limit to which players can improve in friendly matches is 30.
This limit of 30 can be increased up to a maximum of 36 by including older players in your
friendly team from which the younger players can learn. The limit will be increased
by two points for each player aged 24 years or older who have a total skill
point rating of 30 or over in your team.
For example, if one 24+ year old player rated 30+ is included in your team then the limit will
be raised to 32. Two 24+ year old players rated 30+ would raise the limit to 34, and
three older players would raise the limit to a maximum of 36.
Additionally, up to three players who are aged 31 or over will not be selected for allocation of a bonus
skill point in friendlies. Therefore if you played three players aged 31 or over and
the rest of the team were aged under 24 then one of the eight younger players would be
guaranteed the skill point should you get the required match result.
Note
|
Only the first three 31+ aged players would be exempt from the allocation of the bonus
point. If four or more 31+ aged players are included in your team friendly then they WOULD be taken into
account when the destination of the bonus point is decided.

|
Players aged 24 years to 30 years inclusive would potentially be selected for the bonus skill point
which would not be successfully be awarded as these players are above the age limit
for gaining skill points from a friendly.
There follows some examples to hopefully clearly show how these changes work.
Example 1.
You have played eleven players aged 23 or under but have lost the friendly
match. No skill point is awarded as the existing rules regarding winning the
match or getting a draw away from home still apply.
(All further examples are based on your team winning the friendly or drawing
away from home.)
